What this tool does
Image Resizer changes the pixel dimensions of an image right in your browser. It's useful for fitting an avatar into a required size, shrinking a photo before sharing, or preparing images for a website.
How to use

- Drag the corner handle on the preview, or enter a target width and height. Keep aspect ratio to avoid stretching.
- Pick an output format (PNG, JPG, or WebP).

Notes
- Everything runs locally — your image is never uploaded.
- PNG keeps transparency; JPG does not.

Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images never leave your device.
Which formats are supported?
You can load JPG, PNG, WebP, and most common image formats, and export as PNG, JPG, or WebP.
Will resizing reduce quality?
Making an image smaller keeps quality high. Enlarging beyond the original size can look soft, since new pixels are interpolated.
Does keeping the aspect ratio change my numbers?
With 'Keep aspect ratio' on, the image is scaled to fit inside your width and height without distortion, so the final size may be smaller than the box you enter.
