Cropped
What this tool does
Image Cropper lets you cut out a rectangular area of an image in your browser — for a profile photo, a banner, or removing unwanted edges.
How to use
- Drop an image above, or click to choose a file.
- Drag the box to move it, or drag the bottom-right handle to resize.
- For an exact crop, type X, Y, width, and height in pixels.
- Pick a format, click Crop image, and download.
Notes
- Everything runs locally — your image is never uploaded.
- Values are in the image's real pixels, not the on-screen preview size.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Cropping happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images never leave your device.
How do I select the crop area?
Drag inside the box to move it, drag the bottom-right handle to resize, or type exact X, Y, width, and height values in pixels.
Which formats can I export?
You can export the cropped area as PNG, JPG, or WebP. PNG keeps transparency; JPG and WebP are smaller for photos.
